Final Logo's

After much discussion and consideration we finally came to a conclusion as to which texts and designs we would like to use as our logo's...

Artist Logo:

 

After much consideration we settled on 'Arenq' as the design for our logo for 'Nova'. The reasoning behind selecting this text is due to the fact that it looks professional and that it is versatile, it still has room for improvement. When it comes to placing the font on our album cover, we will most probably play around with thickness levels in order to make sure the text is as prominent as possible. I feel that this text will be very effective and successful in terms of representing Nova as it is dynamic, modern and simple.

Record Label Logo:

As for our record label logo, we selected 'Sandre' as our final font. Whilst in the process of making  this decision, we decided that it needed a little bit of improvement in order for it to look realistic and professional and so decided to have a thinner, spread out font at the bottom displaying the word 'Records'. We decided that this new addition makes the logo look just that little bit more formal and business like. In regards to the newly added text, we decided to use the text font named 'Sandre'  as it looks current as well as giving us a link to the music industry due to the lines looking like piano keys or guitar strings. We want our logo to be all black to give it that sleek look that you want in a business logo.
