Tour poster photoshoot

After deciding what type of look we were going to go for for our images we immediatly went to the studio to begin our shoot.

We took the outfit that we wanted Nova to wear into strong consideration; we planned to have a plain background and so felt that a  bright outfit would be a good idea as it would make a statement. With this being said, we chose a blue dress which had fragmented circles on it, we thought this would be a  perfect outfit as the geometric look of the dress is similar to the style we were going for with our digipack and the blue of the dress matches the colour scheme to our video.

We specifically chose to do the shoot in a studio as we felt that a plain white background would be helpful for when we came to editing in the text for the poster, there would be  no distracting background taking away from the important information we were trying to get out. Similarly, being in a studio meant that we had access to studio lighting, making our images look just that bit more professional; this also meant that Nova would be glowing and radient and the quality of the images would be sharper.

The aftermath of this shoot invovled us having a large amount of images to choose from, which we managed to whittle down to a final four to choose from. To me, this photoshoot was a great success and I feel that from the images we have attained, we will create an amazing poster.
